All Good Things Must Come to an End

All good things must come to an end. But, in the case of our website, it’s been replaced with something even better! This month, FPI launched our beautifully redesigned website. We chose  an overall upgraded design that’s easily navigated, providing what we think is an upgraded user experience.

Our new website still reflects our brand and provides good, quality content both members and non-members alike. Plus, our new site recognizes us for what we are — a modern authority on foodservice packaging.

We reviewed current website design trends — including the fact that more than 50% of online traffic comes from mobile users — and consulted with our design company to create a new site that will make it easier for people to find the information and resources they need, when they need them.

Some of our improvements? Along with more images of real people using foodservice packaging products, you will see:

  • Easier to find resources.
  • Well-organized membership information to attract new members.
  • The FPI blog housed directly on our site.
  • A one-stop Media Relations page with resources for the media.
  • An improved members-only section of the website.

Not in front of your computer? No worries! The site is optimized for mobile users so you can have the same experience as being on a computer when you’re on your mobile phone or tablet.

We also evaluated all the documents that have been downloaded over the years to make sure we’re putting the most relevant information in front of users. And, we just wanted the site to look clean and organized!

We think we accomplished what we set out to do — create a user-friendly experience where people can find studies, reports, informational documents, toolkits and more. It’s a website that creates a good first impression of our association, and hopefully a lasting impression.

Check out FPI’s upgraded new site and let us know what you think!
